What to wear: Sentimental Objects

This past month has been nothing short of amazing. I'm meeting incredible people (online too) and I'm excited about stepping out my comfort zone. I'm embracing everything, living in the moment and worrying less about things beyond my control. And things are falling where they may. I was in South Africa 3 years ago and stayed with Rita, an older South African colored woman. She gave me the necklace I wear in these photos which are polished stones she hand picked from an adventure she took to Mozambique. I couldn't take them but she insisted and told me to keep them to remember 'living can always be an adventure'. How was the past month, week, day for you? If you haven't has an adventure remember it's never too late.

      I love that necklace, it's one of the best gifts I've ever received! Botswana is on my adventure list, I have to take that trip soon.
