Yesterday was the kick-off of DC Fashion Week, yes we have Fashion Week in the DMV too and this was the out fit I put together for the Kick-Off Reception & Eco Fashion Show 2013. I've been slowly revamping my closet for the past two years, getting pieces that I envision will last a while. This look combines a lot of my must haves; pencil skirt, tuxedo jacket, cropped top, lace, monochrome and pop of color. I can't say how much I've been loving Marshalls and TJ Maxx. I'm so happy I started shopping there. There are always amazing pieces at amazing prices. Their commercials do not lie! I plan to attend a couple more events, will keep you posted.
