Changing Traditions

Shorts: Laurene's DIY// Shirt: Marshalls// Flats: S/o (try these or this)// Bag: Zara s/o

Summer's slowly faded out...long sigh, but I do not miss the steaming hot days.
I love how "African Print" has become so integrated into today's' fashion. Gone were the days when mostly mothers and grandmothers wore these prints in a very predictable style. These days they are everywhere and in every which style. These are one of the many shorts I made this summer (actually I think it was the first I made) but i never got to wearing it. I paired it with leopard print flats and an un-presumptuous white shirt with a nice surprise in the back.
As always I like to be very versatile with what I wear. Easily been able to transition for a night out with a pair of heels, a clutch and bolder lip color.
