I remember wearing a similar black dress a few months ago and my grandma sternly looking me over and asking 'why are you wearing a black dress.' She can't phantom anything out of the traditional annotation of black= grief that will make anyone want to wear a black dress. At what point does tradition and fashion meet and or diverge?
'But it's a nice dress.'
'I know it is. Why does it have to be black?.
She ain't know non' about that "lil' black dress"
