MATCHY MATCHY
Top and Skirt: Custom made (contact me for where to find)// Shoes: Zara (s/o, like this)
I made a lot of matching set outfit on my Ghana staycation, (one of the things I particularly miss). This is one I particularly love. I wore the top over white linen pants here. I got the fabric from a street vendor. I watched her pass She walked with yards and yards of fabric piled on her head and a few hanging from her arm. I ended up purchasing a whole bunch of prints and her excitement was contagious. She had made her sales target for the day and maybe a couple more. She could call it a day, but I knew she wasn't, gotta hustle!. I tend to miss the simplicity of life in Ghana, it's hard to put to words. The juxtaposition of struggle and ease, that exist on a jin-jang scale one tipping one was or the other by its own rules. A friend who has permanently relocated back to Ghana calls it organized chaos. It's a love hate relationship (which will definitely lead into African politics but not the place or forum). Again, I digress, I wore this to my buddy Manny's baby shower last weekend. I was the host and had so much fun running with the adults (meaning married and or with kids).More pics from the shower will be up soon.
I get asked a lot where I get most of my pieces so I opened an online store where a few of my picks can be purchased upon request here.
Come back soon!!!
