I've literally been sewing my summer wardrobe. Do you remember both of these prints from my recent beach post (here) and this post. These are African prints (Ankara) that I got from friends and family. I sketch whenever I'm bored, then I pull out my sewing machine and get to work. I made this simple dress and belted it to give it a little definition. I paired the dress up with these amazing fabfind from Marshalls. These flats are from Pour la Victoire and retail for over $200 but I got it for only $15. Score! I'm also loving the mocha-licious lipstick from wet'n'wild. The "nude" lipsticks normally look peach on me but this color is a perfect nude for darkskinned girls and it's only about 2 buck for a tube.
What I wore
Dress: Self made// Flats: Pour la Victoire c/o Marshalls// Purse: Anne Klein// Watch: Guess// Bracelet: FV21 & Ghanaian beads// Earrings: Gifted (from Ethiopia)
That dress is amazing! I love the way you styled it!
